what if all my ideas were awesome?

This makes me think of my last long-term contract gig, where someone else in my office signed her emails “Compliance actively applied reduces risk!” What does that even mean? If I had to rephrase, it’d be “Please try to avoid doing anything dumb.” Which really is common sense, right? Maybe not. I didn’t work there for that long.
